Zanzibar Overview
Zanzibar is an archipelago that offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience world class beaches and tranquil breaks. It is a cultural melting pot where influences and traditions of Africa, India and Arabia have met for centuries.
Zanzibar is comprised of two main islands; Unguja (informally Zanzibar) and Pemba to the north and numerous smaller islands. It is home to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Stone Town, with its whitewashed, coral-rag houses, quaint shops, bazaars, mosques and intimate winding streets. Renowned for its white sand beaches, Zanzibar offers the perfect combination of relaxation, luxury and exploration for all; whether you are looking for a luxury retreat, a secluded, intimate beach break or a traditional beach family hotel holiday. The island also offers world fresh seafood and a visit to the famous Rock restaurant is always recommended.
